Greatest Works

It all starts with a prompt - an experience to relay, an emotion to get across, an idea to communicate, a viscerally human experience to capture and relay. These are my greatest works to date - I had a visions for each of these works, stories I wanted to tell. I believe I did them justice.

Process

I take into consideration the application of my work - What is it’s purpose? To set the stage and context for something? To tug at the heartstrings in angles previously unknown to humanity? What emotions, ideas, and experiences am I trying to convey?

From there, I head to the nearest instrument (Usually my E-piano) to bounce ideas around, audibly. I decide if it’s going to be more lyrical, or more raw and emotional (almost at times nonsensical, if the idea calls for it). I decide things such as tempo, motifs, chord progressions, and get to a rough draft of the piece. This process usually takes me around a few hours.

From there, I then open up whatever DAW I’m using (at the moment I use A mixture of bandlab and FL Studio) to put the final project together, and I explore with other instruments to see what they can add to the idea. This process takes me about a day or two.

Once I’m done, I just need to do the necessary polish work; balancing, EQ, and then I send off both a WAV and an MP3 file to my client and ask for feedback and possible revisions.
